DRESSES!!!!
Spring dresses (knee or ankle length, POR FAVOR) floral, lines prints, solids. Cool colors are a must, blue, greens, and purples. Even Gold natural tones (Ashley Stewart picture)
For those HIPSTERS - A-line definitions for hippie ladies, or hug the hips (lightly) with a flare at the end
Lane Bryant For those BUSTY BEAUTIES - aim for a crew/round neck. Overlapping contour with little rouching are good disguises for the bust line size.

PANTS/SHORTS
Wide leg pants slacks for the office. Wide leg and boot cut are good to elongate the shape. Materials as cotton blends, linens are good for the summer. No leggings to the work place!!!! That is so unprofessional unless you work at the trendy teeny bopper retail store. Other than that please refrain…..
- NO Skinny jeans if you are heavy @ the bottom. It will give you the short husky look, which is a look that you do not want.
Capri’s are great business casual wear on (casual day).
TOPS
Sleeveless, or sleeves depending on your preference, off the shoulder shirts
(sexy after hours wear, ruffle collars (stellar look)). Lightweight material; linen, knit, jersey knits (remember this clings to the body, so beware). If you are conscious about your arms “Bat wings” then go for the off the shoulders with sleeves, quarter or long. Short sleeves are acceptable just as long as the shirt fits. How can you tell, if your top has buttons, as you button it, the fabric begins to pull across the bust, the shirt is too little. I know that it maybe your favorite shirt.
Outfit Recovery - add a colored tank underneath (compliments the over shirt) and button starting under the bust line. Your TA-TAs can breathe and you are able to keep that favorite shirt.
For shirts with no buttons, you are showing the world the color of your undergarment and /or nipples then it’s time to retire this top.
Outfit recovery – you can camouflage your nipples with a razorback vest. Quarter length blazers are great for those evening movies, light cardigans
Shoes: Sandals are a must, flats, wedges, gladiators, peep-toe flats are a great accent to an outfit.
Accent your outfit with these "OUTSTANDERS" :
Hair - Off the face!! Its summer time, hair in the face can lead to oil build up and cause pimples, and bumps, worse cases rashes on the face. Try the half up, half down with tresses in the face. Clean ponytail or the messy ponytail buns are good throwbacks. BOHO braids are one of the popular trendy styles with a long mane. If you feel bold go for a summer weave, or rock the SHORT do…. It’s the summer try new styles that will accent your face….look @ Chrisette Michelle, fabulous. You are not your hair….!
Make-up - keep the foundation lightweight, use concealer to cover those blemishes on top of your foundation and seal with a light powder. Use a light bronzer on the cheeks, gives that kissed by the sun look. Play with colors for your eye shadow (purple/blue), (gold/green) that complements your outfit. The heavy dramatic are good for when you outfit needs a boost. If the outfit has a pattern texture, keep the eyes simple and sweet. Instead of paying for those faux lashes, use SEPHORAs lash lipo mascara, works wonders on your own ashes, or cover girl/Maybelline with the 2-1 primer and mascara, a quick lash boost.

Nail polish - Royal blue, Shrek green, bubblegum pink, periwinkle, lilac by OPI or Wal-Mart ($2.00)
Pedicures - once every two weeks, to keep you feet from drying out and cracked while wearing sandals scrub feet with a pumice, dry completely, lather with moisturizer (Vaseline, gold bond, ect.) place a sock at night. Keep those little piggies soft. No more sandpaper under the covers.
Accessories: A lot of boutiques and shops have those colorful pieces.
Earrings - Dangle, Dangle Dangle!!!! Those long pieces are awesome for those pinups or even the curly locks. I recommend the pieces with the beads, threads, limit the plated “fake” gold they will tarnish with every wear.
Necklace - Native pieces are in BEADS, Medallions, and feathers. Long drapes are a plus with a short dress. For on the go or date night. Short length is safe, aim for a piece with colors and flare to spruce your outfit. Again tone it down if your outfit makes a statement. An adventurous direction with 2 bold colors for example. Salmon top with a khaki bottom, use blue toned jewels to bring the outfit together with a combo of colors. Have fun… you own this outfit!!
Bangles – Same color bead of your necklace if you want to be a cookie cutter. I recommend play with simplicity.. Silver toned necklace with colorful beads, go for plain silver bangles. For extravagance you can do big bangles but tone the necklace… You do not want a crash course of jewelry when you bold everything. Reflect balance.
Rings - Have fun - tiger face, butterfly, big jewels. In NYC the street store of SOHO and Chinatown have a lot of choices, a bit pricey. Forever 21, H&M have a limited but good selection. Here are some online sources to view a variety of other styles. I prefer heading to a store versus online, why pay extra for fake items????
